Thunder.CommandLine.TestHelpers

Offers test helpers when working with System.CommandLine nuget library.

How to Use

This library provides TestConsole, which attaches to the StdOut and StdErr of a program to read the output of CLI calls.

The below example also uses FluentAssertions:

    var console = TestConsole.CreateAndAttach();

    new Program().Main("command");

    console.StdOut.Should().Contain("Hello world!");

Why?

This is designed to help make integration testing for a CLI program much easier. Typically, the interface part of a program can be very hard to test, but sometimes there will need to be test coverage here, so these helpers simplify working with this part.
