Site24x7 APM Insight Javaagent

APM Insight is an application performance monitoring tool by Site24x7, which helps users track and analyze critical business transactions, trace errors across various microservices, and understand the impact of external components on your application's performance.

Java agent can help you monitor your java application at code level and provide you granular insights on the performance.

Requirements

  1. Site24x7 Account
  2. Device key. Can be obtained from Site24x7 console > Admin > Developer > Device Key
  3. Install this extension onto your Azure App Service

How to use this extension?

  1. Goto your app service settings > Environment Variables > App Settings
  2. Add new key with name "S247_LICENSE_KEY" and Device Key of your Site24x7 Account
  3. Restart the app service

Whats next?

  1. Goto Site24x7 console > APM and you will find your app service added as an APM monitor
  2. Generate some traffic on your application, you will be able to see the performance metrics of those request hits in a minute
