ShoddyGameLibs - MSBuild Props Extension

ShoddyGameLibs automates the process of hollowing/stripping/zipping reference dlls marked with ShoddyGameLib="true", it also unzips the libs when building on Github Workflows.

The following values should be set either through PropertyGroups or as below on the ShoddyGameLib PackageReference:

Properties

  • GameFilesDir: (Required) Directory path to the game's root.
  • GameLibsFileDir: (Optional) File path to zip into.
    • Defaults: '$(MSBuildThisFileDirectory)ShoddyGameLibs'
  • BuildGameLibs: (Optional 'true') Should we build into that zip?
    • Defaults: 'false'
  • BuildFromGameLibs: (Optional 'true') Should we resolve references from that zip?
    • Defaults: 'false' unless $(CI) == 'true'

Finally, any assembly references in the Managed directory should be added as so:
