Description

Provides easy access to a static set of functions to retrieve, add, or delete values from the System.Runtime.Caching.MemoryCache.

Usage Examples

Add value to memory cache.

MemoryCacher.Add(cacheValueName, value, DateTimeOffset.Now.AddSeconds(cacheSeconds));

Get value from the cache if it exists.

 string value = string.Empty;
 string cacheValueName = "TEST";
 if (MemoryCacher.GetValue(cacheValueName) != null)
 {
   value = (string)MemoryCacher.GetValue(cacheValueName);
 }

Delete value from the cache if it exists

MemoryCacher.Delete("TEST");

Get value from cache if it exists; otherwise, add a value to the memory cache.

  string cacheValueName = "TEST";
  string value = string.Empty;
  int cacheSeconds = 60;
  if (MemoryCacher.GetValue(cacheValueName) != null)
  {
    value = (string)MemoryCacher.GetValue(cacheValueName);
  }
  else {
    value = "Just Testing";
