iCal.NET is an iCalendar (RFC 5545) class library for .NET aimed at providing RFC 5545 compliance, while providing full compatibility with popular calendaring applications and libraries.

iCal.Net v5 pre-releases

Starting with 5.0.0-pre.39, iCal.Net v5 pre-releases are available as NuGet Packages

v5 is an extensive rewrite of the library, with a focus on performance, correctness and usability. All issues reported in prior versions have been addressed, and the library has been thoroughly tested.

Daily pre-releases are available as GitHub Packages<br/> and from the zipped packages folder.

We strongly recommend using the pre-release packages. They are stable and contain many bug fixes and improvements over the v4 release.<br/> See the API Changes Document for more information.

iCal.Net v4

is still available as a NuGet Package.

Versioning

ical.net uses semantic versioning. In a nutshell:

Given a version number MAJOR.MINOR.PATCH, increment the:

  1. MAJOR version when you make incompatible API changes,
  2. MINOR version when you add functionality in a backwards-compatible manner, and
  3. PATCH version when you make backwards-compatible bug fixes.
