Installing Command Line Tools

Install from NuGet:

dotnet tool install -g Scaleout.DigitalTwin.Cli

Private NuGet feed:

dotnet tool install -g Scaleout.DigitalTwin.Cli --add-source http://nuget.scaleoutsoftware.com/nuget

The -g flag installs the tool globally for the user. If omitted, the tool will be installed as a local tool for the current directory. See dotnet tool install for more information.

Uninstall:

dotnet tool uninstall -g Scaleout.DigitalTwin.Cli

(omit the -g flag if the tool was installed to the local folder)

Updating Command Line tools

Using the dt Tool

The dt command is run from the directory containing the .csproj file for the DigitalTwin worker project. Four verbs are supported:

  • pack
  • start
  • stop
  • status

Use the --help flag with each verb to see its options.
