OpenStrata.MSBuild.ALM contains build definitions that drives the build activities of an ALM project. The ALM project is designed to actively and automatically manage an Application's Lifecycle by serving as the entry point for MSBuild during devops or continuous integration automation.

The ALM project is intended to be used in conjunction with a Publishers predefined ALM Configuration settings as specified using an OpenStrata Publisher ALM project. See OpenStrata.MSBuild.Publisher.ALM

The MSBuild action is intended to be triggered any number of ways to accommodate a Publisher's Maker team and business objectives. Tools available to customers to use are Visual Studio (2019 or higher), Visual Studio Code, Command Line, Azure Pipeline, GitHub Action, or any other means that allows for a download from a source code repository and the execution of an MSBuild or Dotnet Build command.


Install OpenStrata.NET.Templates to get started.

After OpenStrata.NET.Templates is installed, create an ALM project using the openstrata-alm template.

dotnet new openstrata-alm --name [preferred-name]
