.NET integration package for Signatur.

Installation

To install the package via NuGet, you can use either .NET CLI:

dotnet add package Limbo.Integrations.Signatur

or the older NuGet Package Manager:

Install-Package Limbo.Integrations.Signatur

Usage

Basic Usage

SignaturFeedParser feedParser = new();

SignaturFeed feed = feedParser.Load(0000);

foreach (SignaturItem item in feed.Items)
{

}

This will fetch the RSS feed and return the feed as a SignaturFeed and expose the items of the the feed as SignaturItem.

Dependency Injection

services.AddTransient<SignaturFeedParser>();

services is an IServiceCollection.

Exception Handling

If using one of the Parse methods, and if loading or parsing the feed fails, you will be able to catch the eexception like:

try
{
    var feed = feedParser.Load(0000);
}
catch (Exception ex)
{
    // log the exception
}

If the exception doesn't matter that much, you may also use the TryLoad method instead:

if (feedParser.Load(0000), out var feed))
{

}
